Since 2007, I have been choosing a word every year as inspired by Ali Edwards. I am taking an online course from her with prompts every month to remind me of my word and to look at life through the lens of my word. This year is PROSPER. A word that means:
- to be successful
- to make happy
- to favour
- to grow
- to increase
Such great definitions I think!!! She challenged us to consider some intentions for our word this year. Here are some of the areas in my life that I want to PROSPER in:
- my relationship with God
- my home
It’s going to be a good year. I’m excited about my word and about where it will take me!
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
not stands in the path of sinners, not sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that brings forth it’s fruit in it’s season,
whose leaf also shall not wither;
and whatever he does shall prosper.
